The Accreditation Council of Education (ACE/LAMDIK) conducted international accreditation outreach at Fatoni Universiti (FTU), Pattani, Thailand. Socialization was conducted at three educational faculties, including the Faculty of Education, Islamic Religion and Law, and the Faculty of Culture. The socialization received by the three faculties was very well received, as well as being able to discuss strategies and the importance of quality culture in the Study Program Management Unit.
The ACE delegation was represented by the Directorate of Information Systems and Cooperation, Professor Harun Joko Prayitno, Professor Joko Nurkamto, Instrument Development Division, and Professor Pratiwi Retnaningdyah from the International Cooperation and Accreditation Division.
Dean of the FTU Faculty of Education, Professor Jaruwat Songmuang, who was accompanied by the Head of the Malay Language Education Study Program, Professor Phaosan Jehwae and the Head of the FTU Arabic Language Education Study Program, Dr. Muhammadsyarif Hayisama-ae, expressed their strong commitment to the accreditation process. They agreed to apply for accreditation to ACE, including the Malay Language Education Study Program, Arabic Language Education Study Program, and English Language Education Study Program. They are dedicated to ensuring that all the necessary steps are taken to achieve this goal.
The Dean of the FTU Faculty of Education agreed that he would start compiling forms that the ACE team would assist with at the end of August 2024. The ACE team will guide us through the process, from compiling forms to uploading complete documents, desk evaluation, and on-site assessments. The Dean and Head of Study Program hope that by the end of 2024, all the stages can be completed so that they can improve the performance of the FTU Faculty of Education.
On the same occasion, FTU Rector Professor Ismail Lutfi Japakiya hopes the accreditation process will improve FTU's reputation. To date, FTU has entered the 50 best public and private campuses in Thailand and hopes to become the best campus at the international level. The FTU Rector and Vice Rector appreciated the meeting and collaboration.
