Forum Group Discussion on Strengthening LAMDIK Assessors and Implementing LAMDIK Accreditation in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 53 of 2023 in Tangerang

The Education Self-Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) held an FGD on Strengthening LAMDIK Assessors and Implementing LAMDIK Accreditation in accordance with Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023. This activity took place from Friday (15/11/2014) and lasted for two days in Tangerang City which was attended by LAMDIK assessors from various universities. This FGD aims to strengthen the role of assessors in the implementation of accreditation according to the standards set by Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023 concerning Accreditation of Study Programs and Higher Education.

In a report submitted by the Director of Development and Evaluation of LAMDIK, Dr. Muhdi, explained in detail the new policies related to higher education quality assurance. In his presentation, Dr. Muhdi explained that quality assurance is a continuous cycle that involves setting, implementing, evaluating, controlling, and improving higher education standards. Dr. Muhdi in his presentation also explained the flow of the accreditation mechanism by LAMDIK in accordance with Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023.

This activity was also filled with interactive discussions and accreditation assessment simulations involving all participants. The aim is to harmonize understanding and improve assessor skills in using accreditation instruments in accordance with Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023.

This FGD is expected to be a momentum to strengthen the professionalism of assessors in supporting the improvement of the quality of higher education. LAMDIK is also committed to continuing to provide assistance to assessors to ensure the implementation of transparent and accountable accreditation in accordance with Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023.
