LAMDIK/ACE Officially Becomes Full Member of INQAAHE (International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education)

On December 13, 2013, the Independent Accreditation Institution for Education (LAMDIK) or The Accreditation Council for Education (ACE), has officially become a full member of LAI (International Accreditation Institution), namely the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. LAMDIK’s membership in INQAAAHE is one of the proofs that LAMDIK shows itself as an excellent quality assurance institution in the field of education because in a short time it has gained the trust to become a full member of one of the most prominent international educational accreditation institutions.

LAMDIK’s achievements and recognition are in line with the decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 52/E/KPT/2023, concerning the procedure for submitting a proposal for recognition of an international accreditation institution, especially the aspect of formal recognition, namely obtaining recognition from an international or supranational registration institution, international agreement [accord], or international professional organization. This means that LAMDIK has been able to prove itself to be included in the full membership list of international agreements [accord].

This achievement also strengthens the signing of the previous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between LAMDIK and the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages UzSUWL. In almost the same period on December 6, 2023, LAMDIK also received a visit from the National Agency for Academic Assessment and Accreditation (ANAAA) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture of Timor-Leste regarding the MoU for accreditation of several education study programs at a number of universities in Timor Leste. One of the important points of the two MoUs is asking LAMDIK to accredit education study programs.

This proves that LAMDIK has met the requirements as an International Accreditation Institution. This refers to the decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 52/E/KPT/2023, concerning the procedure for submitting a proposal for recognition of an international accreditation institution. LAMDIK is ready to become a leading and trusted LAI in the era of global educational communication-computing.
