Instrument with 9 Criteria of National Accreditation Standards
Friday, October 23, 2018, a meeting was held between the LAM DIK Board of Directors and the Accreditation Instrument Drafting Team. The Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani, M.Pd, and the Vice Chairman, Prof. Dr. Harun Joko Prayitno, discussed various matters related to the accreditation instrument with the instrument team, including Prof. Dr. Ivan Hanafi, M.Pd., Prof. Dr. Joko Nurkamto, Prof. Dr. Sunandar, and Dr. Suryanti, M.Pd. The Chairman of the Advisory Board, Prof. Dr. Ahman, was also present. The meeting was held online.
Several outcomes from the meeting included that the accreditation documents consist of: the Instrument, the Assessment Matrix, the Instrument Filling Guidebook, and the Assessment/Application Guide for Assessors. These four documents are expected to be finalized in draft form soon, so that a public test can be conducted as soon as possible. The public test is planned for November 2020.
To ensure the completion of the documents according to the set targets, a team responsible for each document was formed. The team composition is as follows:
1. Document 1 (instrument) and 3 (assessment matrix): Prof. Joko, Prof. Ivan, and team
2. Document 2 (instrument filling guidebook): Prof. Sunandar, Dr. Suryanti, and team.
3. Document 4 (assessment/application guide for assessors): Asmunin, S.Kom., M.Kom, Prof. Ekohariadi, Prof. Luthfiyah N, and team.
Furthermore, the weighting for the components of input, process, output, and management was also discussed. However, the issue of weighting still needs further discussion, considering various factors, including the BAN-PT, ASIIN, and OBE instruments, which serve as some of the references. However, as an accreditation instrument for a teaching university, not a research university, the process and output components may have a greater weight compared to the input and management components.
Additionally, there will be an addition of short descriptions for each criterion in the instrument. As an accreditation instrument for educational institutions, these short descriptions are also intended to have a distinctive educational touch.
