LAMDIK Becomes Indonesia’s Representative for Plenary Session at APQN Russia Conference

The General Chairperson of LAMDIK, Muchlas Samani led the LAMDIK delegation at the Academic Conference organized by the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN). This scientific conference took place on September 26-29, 2024 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

At the scientific conference, the LAMDIK Accreditation Division represented the Indonesian delegation in the plenary session and presented a research article entitled ‘The Influence of Input, Management, and Process on Output: Research on Education Study Programs in Indonesia.’

APQN and the Russian Register greatly appreciate the LAMDIK delegation who attended and participated in this conference despite the limitations in Russia. APQN also greatly appreciates LAMDIK for presenting its paper on the implementation of the process and culture of quality of educational study programs that have been evaluated by LAMDIK. During the plenary session, APQN participants were very interested in finding out more about the assessment items that had the most significant influence on the output.

In addition to the article presentation, LAMDIK General Chairperson Muchlas Samani also expressed LAMDIK’s desire to collaborate with Wesley Teter, UNESCO’s representative in Bangkok regarding the capacity building program which is scheduled to be held in Jakarta at the end of October 2024. This was done as an effort to support and strengthen LAMDIK’s international accreditation program, Muchlas also initiated cooperation with the Hong Kong Accreditation Institute chaired by Christina Ng.

In the future, LAMDIK is determined to actively participate in international scientific forums in the field of quality assurance. This step is seen as very strategic as part of the LAMDIK process to become one of the International Accreditation Institutions that is ready to provide assistance and accreditation to the quality of educational study programs at a number of world-class universities.
