Three Education Study Programs at Fatoni Universiti Pattani, Thailand Ready to Apply for Accreditation to LAMDIK
The Accreditation Council for Education (ACE/LAMDIK) conducted a socialization of international accreditation at Fatoni Universiti (FTU), Pattani, Thailand. The socialization was carried out in three educational faculties, including the Faculty of Education, Islamic Religion and Law, and the Faculty of Culture. The socialization received by the three faculties was very well received, and they were able to discuss strategies and the importance of quality culture in the Study Program Management Unit.
The ACE delegation was represented by the Directorate of Information Systems and Cooperation, Professor Harun Joko Prayitno, Professor Joko Nurkamto, Instrument Development Division, and Professor Pratiwi Retnaningdyah from the International Cooperation and Accreditation Division.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education, FTU, Professor Jaruwat Songmuang, who was accompanied by the Head of the Malay Language Education Study Program, Professor Phaosan Jehwae, and the Head of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, FTU, Dr. Muhammadsyarif Hayisama-ae, showed a strong commitment to the accreditation process. They agreed to apply for accreditation to ACE, including the Malay Language Education Study Program, Arabic Language Education Study Program, and English Language Education Study Program. They are dedicated to ensuring that all necessary steps will be taken to achieve this goal.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education, FTU, agreed to start compiling the form which will be assisted by the ACE team by the end of August 2024. The ACE team will guide us through the process, from compiling the form to uploading complete documents, desk evaluation, and on-site assessment. The Dean and Head of Study Program hope that by the end of 2024 all stages can be completed so that the performance of the Faculty of Education, FTU can be improved.
On the same occasion, FTU Chancellor Professor Ismail Lutfi Japakiya hopes that this accreditation process can improve FTU’s reputation. Until now, FTU has been included in the 50 best public and private universities in Thailand and hopes to become the best campus internationally. The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of FTU appreciated the meeting and cooperation.
