Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs of FTU Thailand Accompanies Three Education Study Programs for Accreditation to ACE

Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs of Fatoni Universiti (FTU), Pathani Thailand, Professor Ahmad Omar Chapakia accompanied three education study programs that are currently submitting the accreditation process to the Independent Accreditation Institution for Education (LAMDIK). The socialization and mentoring activities were carried out in a hybrid manner, compiling self-evaluations and study program performance reports.

This mentoring activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, FTU, Dr. Jaruwat Songmuang and the Vice Dean. Head of the Malay Language Education (MLE) Study Program, Dr. Phaosan Jehwae, and all lecturers of the MLE Study Program. Head of the English Language Education (EE) Study Program Dr. Mariyae Baneng and the entire team of lecturers of the EE Study Program, as well as Head of the Arabic Language Education (ALE) Study Program Dr. ALE Study Program lecturer team.

This hybrid activity was led directly by the Vice Chancellor of FTU, Professor Oemar, and the University’s Faculty and Study Program team who gathered at the Faculty of Education building, FTU Pathani, Thailand. Meanwhile, the LAMDIK Team was directly accompanied by the Director of Information Systems and Cooperation, Professor Harun Joko Prayitno, representing the General Chairperson of LAMDIK, Prof. Muchlas Samani, and the International Accreditation Instrument Development Team, Prof. Joko Nurkamto, and the International Partnership Team, Professor Pratiwi Retnaningdyah.

This mentoring activity is a series of ongoing implementations of the August 8, 2024 meeting between LAMDIK and FTU at FTU Pathani, Thailand. Both parties, LAMDIK and FTU, agreed on the accreditation period for the three education study programs, starting from August 21, 2024 to the next 4 months until the results of ACE are released. The first month is for routine mentoring, the second month is for document finalization, the third month is for desk evaluation, and the fourth month is for field assessment.

This activity is authentic evidence of the reputation and trust of the Education Study Program Management Units from various countries towards LAMDIK as an International Accreditation Institution. For your information, LAMDIK also accredits the Elementary Education Study Program and the English Language Education Study Program in East Timor, as well as the Foreign Language and Literature Study Program of Uzbekistan State World Languages ​​​​University which has currently entered the adequacy assessment stage and is in the process of moving towards the field assessment stage.
