Government Assistance Program for Higher Education Accreditation Transformation

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) supports the transformation process of program study accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) to Independent Accreditation Agencies (LAM) through appropriate, effective, and sustainable mechanisms.

In line with this, the Directorate of Institutional Affairs organizes the Government Assistance Program for Higher Education Accreditation Transformation for study programs within LAM’s scope, which will undergo accreditation processes in 2022. This Government Assistance Program aims to ease the financial burden of higher education institutions.

The recipients of this funding assistance are study programs in undergraduate programs at private universities under the supervision of Kemendikbudristek, with the following provisions:

This assistance is specifically for the accreditation applications of study programs to Independent Accreditation Bodies (LAM), such as:
o LAM Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA)
o LAM Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA)
o LAM Engineering Study Programs (LAM Teknik)
o LAM Informatics and Computer Science (LAM INFOKOM)
o LAM Educational Programs (LAMDIK)
The program is for active study programs with at least 100% completion of data for 2020-1 and 2020-2 in PDDikti.
The eligible study programs should have an accreditation rating of B, C, Very Good, or Good at private universities that do not have an institutional accreditation rating of A or Excellent.
The accreditation rating of the study program will expire in 2022.
The institution is not facing internal issues or legal disputes.
The institution is not under any supervision status.
The Accreditation Feasibility Documents (APS Instruments) must be fully uploaded to LAM and payment proof for APS must match the required fee for the respective LAM.

The assistance provided through this program is in the form of partial reimbursement for the APS fees already paid by higher education institutions to LAM. The amount of the assistance is specified in the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek).
