The Independent Accreditation Institute for Education (LAMDIK) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to discuss the preparation of the 2024 LAMDIK Annual Report and the formulation of the 2025 Budget and Work Plan (RAPBY). This event, held in Solo on Thursday (December 9, 2024) and lasting for three days, was attended by Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani, M.Pd., as the General Chair of LAMDIK, along with LAMDIK Directors, including Prof. Dr. Harun Joko Prayitno, M.Hum., as Director of Information Systems and Cooperation; Dr. Muhdi, S.H., M.Hum., as Director of Development and Evaluation; Prof. Dr. Aceng Hasani, M.Pd., as Director of Accreditation; and Prof. Dr. Sofia Hartanti, M.Si., as Director of Finance, Resources, and General Administration. Additionally, heads of divisions and all staff involved in the preparation of the work program and annual report were present.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani, M.Pd., emphasized the importance of drafting a comprehensive work program that could be completed within the FGD. He reminded attendees that the work program must have clear objectives and contribute to the future development of LAMDIK. The formulated work program is expected to guide LAMDIK towards greater progress and advancement, as reiterated by Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani, M.Pd., in his speech.

Following the opening remarks, the event proceeded with a presentation of the 2024 LAMDIK report by Prof. Dr. Yuni Sri Rahayu, M.Si., which compiled reports from various divisions into a detailed document. She thoroughly outlined the achievements attained by each division throughout 2024. As part of the event, each division submitted their previously prepared annual reports, which would then be consolidated into a comprehensive annual report reflecting LAMDIK’s overall performance and accomplishments in 2024.

Furthermore, each division also presented their work program plans for 2025. This session aimed to establish a clear consensus on the direction and focus of LAMDIK’s programs for 2025. The discussion process during the FGD provided a valuable opportunity for each division to coordinate directly, exchange insights, and evaluate the proposed work programs. This discussion forum also enabled divisions to optimize their work plans by aligning them with shared goals and addressing prevailing challenges, ensuring that the designed programs yield maximum and sustainable results.

This event is regarded as a significant initial step in 2025 towards enhancing the overall quality, efficiency, and performance of LAMDIK. The development of a well-structured work program aligned with long-term objectives is expected to make LAMDIK more responsive to evolving educational sector demands and more innovative in offering solutions to emerging challenges. Thus, this FGD is anticipated to serve as a strong foundation for achieving sustainable progress in LAMDIK’s program implementation in the coming years. Through this initiative, LAMDIK is expected to continue growing with stronger inter-divisional cohesion and to design more impactful programs for Indonesia’s education sector in 2025. This event is envisioned as a significant milestone in improving LAMDIK’s quality and performance in the years ahead.
