LAM Kependidikan Officially Becomes a Legal Entity

After a process that began in 2013, LAM Kependidikan has officially become a legal entity under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkumham RI) on December 17, 2019. This is stated in the Decree of Kemenkumham RI Number AHU-0018765-AH-01-04 dated December 17, 2019, concerning the Approval of the Establishment of the Legal Entity of the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education.

The Kemenkumham letter was based on a request from the initiating team, attaching a recommendation from the Approval Letter of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) Number T/497/M/OT.00.0012019 concerning the Minister’s Approval for the Proposal to Establish the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education dated August 2, 2019.

According to the Decree from Kemenkumham RI and the Approval Letter from Kemenristekdikti RI, the LAM Kependidikan team is currently focusing on:
a. Managing the migration of the IT system from BAN-PT to LAM Kependidikan.
b. Requesting approval for the migration of education assessors from BAN-PT to LAM Kependidikan.
c. Preparing recruitment and refresher training for education-specific assessors.
d. Drafting and developing education-specific instruments
