MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE, & INNOVATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN SUPPORTS LAMDIK ACCREDITATION OF EDUCATIONAL STUDY PROGRAM IN UZBEKISTAN

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of The Republic of Uzbekistan fully supports the accreditation by LAMDIK of education study programs at 3 universities in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The three universities in Tanshkent, Uzbekistan that will be accredited by LAMDIK are Taskhent State University of Pedagogical, Uzbekistan State University of Word Languages, and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

This full support was conveyed directly by Mamatov Inoyatillo as Head of the Department for Supervising Quality & Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the LAMDIK Delegation at the Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 17, 2023. The three agreed together, between the universities to be accredited, the Ministry of Higher Education of Uzbekistan, and LAMDIK have the same goal, namely to improve the quality of input-process-output-outcome of educational study programs in the context of the global communication-computing era.

The head of the LAMDIK delegation who is also the General Chairperson of LAMDIK, Prof. Muchlas Samani, who was accompanied by the directors of LAMDIK on that occasion reported to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, & Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan that LAMDIK had communicated directly with the 3 universities. The results of the meeting with the three universities, that the three universities were all very appreciative. The three universities even welcomed the cooperation offered by LAMDIK very well. As emphasized by Prof. Muchlas as the head of the Delegation, that LAMDIK is not only carrying out accreditation but will also carry out coaching, mentoring, training, and other further development studies related to the quality and reputation of international education.

On the same occasion, Prof. Sunaryo Kartadinata as the Indonesian Ambassador to Uzbekistan emphasized that LAMDIK as a quality assurance institution in the field of education is officially recognized by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. LAMDIK as a leading and trusted quality assurance institution with an international reputation is a quality assurance institution with integrity, objectivity, transparency, professionalism, & accountability.

The diversity of LAMDIK accreditation of several education study programs at 3 universities in Uzbekistan is part of LAMDIK’s development steps to carry out international accreditation in Armenia and East Timor. In the near future, the LAMDIK accreditation directorate team and international cooperation development team will conduct technical coordination, socialization, mentoring, assessment, and further development of education study programs at universities in the 3 countries so that it will have an impact on improving the quality of education study programs as one of the important elements in the development of a country’s human resources.
